Join us in welcoming our nation’s brave and loyal military dogs.

“Like their human counterparts, K9 service dogs deserve our utmost care and respect after completing their deployment.”

Every service member in the United States Army is vital to our freedom and security. K9 service dogs work alongside human soldiers, performing crucial tasks.

These highly trained and skilled dogs detect bombs, weapons, drugs, and hazardous gases, boasting an average detection accuracy of 98%. They are more accurate and reliable than any device developed to date.

Just like human soldiers, K9 service dogs deserve our best care and respect after their deployment. AMK9, a leading provider of K9 detection services, ensures that these dogs are well-cared for and properly placed when they return.

The US government recently collaborated with AMK9 to bring home 92 war heroes who completed their deployment in Afghanistan, more than 7,000 miles away. The meticulous planning involved in this massive task included boxes, food, water, bath breaks, airport transfers, and veterinarians checking the dogs every step of the way.

Guy Owens, AMK9’s vice president of operations, praised the efforts to bring these veteran dogs home. This video showcases the long process of returning these dogs to the United States, highlighting AMK9’s dedication to caring for these K9 heroes.

AMK9 shows the respect that any veteran of the armed forces deserves. It is heartwarming to see working dogs retire and be adopted by the handlers they served with abroad. The bond between them grows so strong during service, and it is special to see that connection continue after retirement.
