Ronnie, a once-lost stray, found his way to Dallas Animal Services (DAS), a haven for animals like him. Upon arrival, Ronnie’s demeanor transformed; he exuded joy as he greeted everyone, eager to showcase his affable nature.
“Ronnie was the epitome of happiness, always wagging and eager to befriend every human he met,” Marlo Clingman from DAS shared with The Dodo.
DAS is dedicated to finding nurturing homes for their animals swiftly, and Ronnie was no exception.

Settling With His Foster Family
The moment Ronnie met his foster mother, his excitement was palpable.
“Meeting his foster mom, Ashley, was a moment of pure joy for him. His tail wouldn’t stop wagging, and his smile was so wide it seemed to engulf his entire face,” recounted the staff.
Ashley captured this heartwarming moment in a photograph, Ronnie’s joy evident in his beaming, squinted eyes.
Ronnie was overjoyed at the prospect of becoming a cherished household pet, embraced by a family’s love.
The moment he crossed the threshold of his new home, he sensed a world filled with affection, joy, and endless cuddles.
Eager to make a good impression, Ronnie quickly adapted to his best behavior, frequently expressing his thankfulness with a barrage of affectionate kisses for his foster family.
Ronnie’s boundless affection has left his foster family wishing for an adopter who will not only cherish him as he deserves but will also reciprocate his love manifold.
“Ronnie is playful and would be overjoyed to have a large canine companion to play with, or at least a buddy for playdates. He’s fond of everyone, showing equal affection to both men and women — he’s incredibly grateful to his foster parents for rescuing him from the shelter. He’s even been gentle with a toddler, greeting him with a big, loving doggie kiss!” Marlo explained.
